What is a ZIP archive?
ZIP is the most widely supported archive format. A ZIP file contains one or more files, each compressed with DEFLATE, along with a central directory listing the entries. It is used by every operating system and by most software distribution systems.
How to use

Files are compressed with DEFLATE at level 6, a balanced default. Everything happens in your browser.
