What is Base32 decoding?
Base32 decoding reverses Base32 encoding, turning a string like NBSWY3DP back into bytes, then decoding those bytes as UTF-8 text.
How to decode
Paste Base32. Whitespace is ignored. The letters are case-insensitive: nbswy3dp and NBSWY3DP decode identically.
FAQ
Why does my output look truncated?
Base32 encodes 5 bits per character. Not every bit combination maps to whole bytes. The decoder drops trailing partial bits, which is correct behavior.
What about padding?
Padding (=) is optional in the input. The decoder handles both padded and unpadded strings.
