What is CSV?
CSV (Comma-Separated Values) is a simple tabular text format. Each row is a line; each column is separated by a delimiter. CSV is used by spreadsheets, database exports, and data interchange.
Despite the name, many "CSV" files use tabs, semicolons, or pipes. This tool handles all of them.
How to use
Choose the direction (CSV to JSON or JSON to CSV). Select the delimiter. Toggle the header row. Paste your input.
Quoted fields containing the delimiter are handled correctly. Escaped double quotes ("") are also supported.

What if my CSV has no header row?
Disable "First row is header". The JSON keys become indices.
Does this handle line breaks inside quoted fields?
Yes, as long as the field is properly quoted.
