What is a QR code?
A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that stores text, URLs, contact cards, WiFi credentials, or short numeric data. QR codes are scanned by phone cameras and can hold up to about 3 KB of data.
Error correction levels (L, M, Q, H) determine how much damage the code can sustain while remaining scannable. Higher levels add redundant data, making the QR code denser but more resilient.
How to use
Type or paste the content. Choose size, error correction level, and colors. The QR code updates as you type. Download as PNG or SVG.
SVG is smaller and scales without blur. PNG is easier to embed in documents and posts.
FAQ
Is the QR code generated on a server?
No. Generation runs entirely in your browser.
What error correction level should I use?
M (medium) is a good default. Use H if the code will be printed small or placed on a curved surface.
Why is my QR code dense?
Longer data or higher error correction produces a denser code. Shorten the URL if possible.
